Academic tracking and course placement by district
Students enrolled in at least one Advanced Placement course, share of enrollment in schools serving grade 12. 2024 compared with 2021. Fair ●●○
Select a column heading to sort. Blank means the publisher did not report that area; "suppressed" means the publisher withheld a small number; "not shown" means this site withheld it (fewer than 30 survey respondents).
The county column comes from the district-to-county table, for reading county measures alongside district ones. State charter schools and other statewide units have no single county.

Source: U.S. Department of Education, Civil Rights Data Collection (Georgia schools; Advanced Placement, Enrollment and School Characteristics files). Collected every other year or so; the three years shown are the ones released. School counts in the public file carry small random privacy changes, which wash out in district and state sums. Schools with a reserve code in either count, or with no reported AP indicator, are left out (156 of 541 grade-12 schools in 2023-24), and those are more likely to be schools with no AP courses, so the share leans high. The measure follows one side of course placement (access to advanced courses); the scoping report rates the source fair.
